  • 1 large taro root (500g/17.8oz), shredded
  • 2 cups of oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp white sesame seed, for garnishing
  • WORLDFOODS Thai Sweet Chilli with Kaffir Lime Dipping Sauce


  1. Using 2 tbsp of taro root, pat down firmly with hands to form a pancake.
  2. Heat oil in wok and place the taro in the oil and fry both side for 45-60 seconds or until golden brown.
  3. Transfer to a platter lined with paper towel.
  4. Garnish with a pinch of sesame seeds.
  5. Serve immediately with WORLDFOODS Thai Sweet Chili with Kaffir Lime Dipping Sauce.
