  • 1 whole rohu fish (no more than 1kg), gutted and cleaned
  • 3-4 cloves, garlic (sliced thinly)
  • 2-3 cayenne peppers, julienned
  • 1 handful of cilantro leaves
  • 1 handful of Chinese celery leaves
  • 4-5 tablespoons of soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons of WORLDFOODS Ginger Garlic Chili sauce


  1. Score the rohu on both sides with a sharp blade.
  2. Place the rohu on a plate and steam for 18 minutes.
  3. In a bowl mix the sesame oil, soya sauce and the WORLDFOODS Ginger Garlic Chili sauce.
  4. Open up the steamer, dress the fish with the garlic and cayenne pepper then close lid for two more minutes.
  5. Remove fish from steamer.
  6. Pour on the sauce.
  7. Dress with cilantro and Chinese celery leaves and serve.
