    INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g ground chicken
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumb
  • 3/4 bottle WORLDFOODS Indian Tikka Masala Stir-fry Sauce
  • 1 medium red onion, peeled and sliced into 4 thick slices
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple, cored and sliced into 4 thick slices
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Some olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

    PREPARATION

  1. In small bowl, stir together lime juice and zest, and mayonnaise.
  2. Combine chicken, breadcrumb and WORLDFOODS Indian Tikka Masala Stir-fry Sauce. Season with salt & pepper. Form into 4 patties. Brush patties with some olive oil.
  3. Heat up the grilling pan with some oil. Grill onion for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Repeat the same for pineapple.
  5. Cook burger patties for 3-4 minutes each side or until dark grill marks appear, then flip. Cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes. Ideally the internal temperature should reach 75 C.
  6. Heat up the burger buns in the griller.
  7. Now assemble the burger buns with a dollop of lime mayo, chicken patties, grilled pineapple, grilled onion, top with lime mayo again then close with the top bun.
